Former Madras High Court Justice Karnan arrested in Chennai

Former Madras Supreme Court Justice CS Karnan was arrested in Chennai on Wednesday.

Former Madras Supreme Court Justice CS Karnan was arrested Wednesday in Chennai for posting a video of abuse of judges and court officials.

Judge Karnan had served on Madras High Court and Kolkata High Court.

After his retirement, Karnan posted a video verbally abusing judges and court officials.

Based on a complaint from the Puducherry Bar Council, a four-part case was filed against Karnan.

However, no action was taken against him. A case was re-filed with Madras High Court which found that no action had been taken against the Complainant who was arrested by Karnan at his Avadi residence.
